That's pretty cool...

I wonder where it came from? Who shot it? I guess it had to be some military pilot person shooting it surreptitiously.

Good find.

it is shot from the second seat in a northrop F-5. training/fun flight through snowy valley somewhere nordic.

there is plenty more 8mm or super-8 flight oriented material from the 60-ies or 70-ies.
vietnam helicopter deployments including LZ-peppering, kubrick "get-some" like scenes but then for real and so on.
transfer is mostly very poor.

The clip with the ultra low (seems 5 to 10 meter) flying French Mirages is very nice too. The sonic boom with clouds carrier-fly-by done by a F-18 is very nice. But these are video originated. I doubt these were authorized by the plane owners :)

Then there are stupidities as police-officers doing 220km/h in an under-cover car with three 8 year old kids in the rear. He nor the kids wearing belts. And of course there was no legal basis for the ride.
Kind regards,

André

That is truly fantastic.

Around 20 years ago I shot some RAF fighters low level over lake Windemere, they'd basically fly over the middle of the lake...naturally I could only shoot from the outside but I always wondered what it would look like from in the cockpit.

However what you have there is truly stunning.
The government says that by 2010 30% of us will be fat....I am merely a trendsetter :)

posted a "RAW" uncut unedited HQ version of the film. since the total transfer i did was 3500m i did not bother in cleaining since most of it still are good as is but this is a bit dirty at the beginning especially.

check out about 2:10 where they roll left and turns right and dive into the valley - you will notice the mountain side right "over" the cockpit hood :)

it will later be "polished" with sound, titles and more.
the film i snow open to "all theaters" as it has no copyrighted music added.
