RTI Retectron, Protectron, Omni & Pulsar - What do they do?

I have just acquired a RTI Retectron, Protectron, Omni and Pulsar.

Does anyone know what this equipment does?

My online researching isn't yielding high quality results.

I believe the Pulsar is a Film Cleaning Maching and the Retectron is a Film Inspection Machine, but what is it cleaning and inspecting?

Can anyone help me out?

I don't know what these are, but why don't you just call RTI? They are normally very helpful.
