If I want Tri-X as negative film, do I just omit the re-exposure stage when I develop it please?

Been there, dunnit, videoed it, reversed it electronically. Cannot say it is great but the processing is much easier than having to reverse the film.
I think I rated it at 200 asa. Cannot remember the developer I used, but any that cope with Tri-X will do.

Just an overall comment, if you process B+W reversal film as negative, it will have more grain in the final image. This attribute may or may not meet what you are going for, but it does make developing much easier.

Is Tri-X cine film different from that sold in 35mm, 120 formats for making prints from?

The Kodak data sheet on this product states that there is some loss of sensitivity and an increase in grain when processed as a negative. Past experience has indicated that the film sensitivity in lowered by half. So 200 would be 100. But I am not certain that holds for this film.
