10 ASA Standard 8mm - yellow leader or film?

Post by Muckymuck »

Just opened a roll of (new) 10 ASA Standard 8mm black and white film bought from Sendean Cameras in London, and the film appears to be bright yellow!

It isn't clear whether this is leader or the film itself - it unspools quite far and I don't want to expose the whole roll finding out whether this yellow film is the leader or actual film.

Does anyone know for sure?

The 10ASA film you have is Kodak's 7363. It has a yellow backing. You're good to go; Load it up and start filming. Brad M
