I am searching a good quality telecine service in France. It seems to be difficult. So, if any of you know one please let me know.
Meanwhile I came accross this company:

http://www.transfert-bobines.fr/numerisation.php

You can download and see an example of their transfer in different resolutions ( -Pour PC (.avi) : en HD 1080i ou en HD 720p ou en SD).

My question to you - in you opinion and experience, does this look good?

Thanks a lot for helping me!

The world is a village. You can find teleciné services all over Europe. Even USA might be interesting with current Euro-Dollar exchange.

I agree. Do you know any in the Netherlands?

At the saem time, I do not want to send my films abroad because it is expensive (I have many) and there is a risk of losing them.

I guess there are some professionals on this forum working with the Flashscan, I would like to know their opinion.

Thanks!

Don't bother with 'mr' Muller. It is they/he themselves who think that.

He thinks a lot of himself and even built this false pretence reviewsite himself (anonymously) in which of course his equipment is judged best and other real yearlong market- and technology leaders are put away as toy or wrongful designs. Apparently it works.

Considering the cost per minute I think the cost of shipping 2kg registered around Europe is not going to be a factor :)
If you want to be sure not to loose the films you have to bring and fetch yourself :) Then hope the lab doesn't burn down overnight or your belongings aren't stolen while travelling. Or you forget to take them along somewhere, like from your doorstep.
Kind regards,

André

Bolex Digital semble bien équipée et faire le boulot sérieusement :
