Would my camera work with vision 3 500T and vision 2 200T?

Hey, i've got this super 8 camera:

It says that the film speed is auto for 40 and 160 ASA.

Now, i can't get film stock with those ASA. All i'm able to get is Vision 3 500T and Vision 2 200T.

So, i'd like to know if those would do the job... because the camera is set to 40 and 160 ASA and those i have are 500 and 200 ASA. Do you think i can use that kind of film in the camera i have? would it be too much trouble if i do? What are the solutions you would recommend.

If the camera exposes for a film of 160 ASA, with a 200 ASA film, it will over-exposure of 1/4 of a f-stop. It is negligible.

A slight over-exposure for the negative is not bad and may be beneficial.

For 500​​ ASA, the over-exposure should be excessive. But the backlight control could perhaps compensate for the difference.

It would be better to buy a camera with manual exposure or a camera that handles 200 and 500 ASA sensitivity.

So, i guess i'll have to run some tests with both films first.

200 ASA film may be the solution, but i still have some doubts.

Where can i buy a camera with manual exposure? Any idea?

True in most cases, but in really low light where most people would tend to use 500T in Super 8, it would probably be wide open aperture anyway so give it a try.

I've found 500T to work well indoors in a store at night with a 40/160 camera, perhaps slightly overexposed but fine once it is transferred.

If you can light properly 200T will give you better results.

The backlight control would give approx another stop MORE exposure, so would make the problem even worse...

I dont know the operation of the Backlight control of this camera. That's why I wrote "perhaps". On some cameras, the exposure compensation can be done more or less.
