Nikon R10 multi pin connector pinout

Post by Brainteaser »

Anyone have a nikon service manual for the R10? I called nikon and was the laughing stock heheheh... the most anyone knew about it was that it's "Old". I need to know the pinout for the multi pin connector which controls the remote features. A friend of mine and I are working on a project and we want to build a DIY intervalometer so we can do time laps and other trickery with the camera, if anyone of you have this information I would greatly appreciate you sharing. Thanks in advance.

Also if anyone has any further info such as Plans for building an intervalometer which are a bit more detailed than the ones already floating around here such as some explanations on the 12 pole switch set up and what capacitors are needed (anyone know how to equate what capacitors I will need per what resistors I decide to use?). I've got a ton of resistors and capacitors and I'll be purchasing a 555 timing switch this weekend along with a relay and a 12 pole switch but it's a bit unclear as to if the 22mfd capacitor would remain constant even when using the 12 fixed resistors rather than a rotary variable resister as highlighted in the main plans for the box. obviously I'm not an electronics genius but I can figure it out with a little guidance. Thanks
