Mama, take this badge off of me (HD digi crap)

I can't use it anymore.
It's gettin' dark, too dark for me to see
I feel like I'm knockin' on heaven's door.
i took a strawl into a tv shop the other day browsing HD 50+ inch (for the neanderthals) HD tvs never really bothered but my 42 plasma broke a couple of years ago so i decided to whats new see.

sooo... to make pain short...

HD originated stuff sux... even the HQ demo reels
half screen black/dark to hide the pixellation patterns oveboosted colours - pin sharp though .. for no use ...there were walls and bridges (walls) of all kinds of makes and models so this isnt a coincidentall glitch---

now, when by accident a film originated clip showed up ... (program announcement/ad) it looked absolutely beautiful.. all the crapification was gone...

now, add that to the fact that the absolutely cheapest HD TV was a ... well maybe ... not hotttest stuff on the wall .. plasma costing way less than $1000 actually delivered the best skin tones and detailed lo/no noise neuanced blacks .....

nothing wrong with HD TV but digital origination sux.

SD originated takes looked like VHS boosting the grainage mishap into cathastrophy..

nice evening...

i shoot my film ... i can not that the shit of the networks.. i rather watch my own 8mm film material on Zhe big skreen....easily

shoot film .. i will...
..tnx for reminding me Michael Lehnert.... or Santo or.... cinematography.com super8 - the forum of Rednex, Wannabees and Pretenders...

Wow, and I thought I might be nuts (well maybe I am but now I've got company)
I can't stand the switch over to shooting shows on digital instead of film. The actors look like crap and scenes all look dead, flat and not very interesting. Give us higher definition, but crappy images to watch??? More and more I find myself in the basement threading up a real film to watch.
