Sorry about posting about still photography equipment but it is film related at least! Ive just received a 1950s Kodak Stereo camera from eBay. The seller claimed in his description that the shutter fires at all shutter speed settings. Well I guess that is certainly true...but as I found out, the shutter duration sounds pretty much the same, regardless of the setting.
Even with the B setting, the shutter speed looks and sounds the same. Incidentally, the shutter does not stay open when holding down the shutter release with B. It does sound like a fairly fast shutter duration is being used with all the settings (including B.) I just wonder how common or uncommon this problem is with these cameras. Hope it's easily fixable.
