I recieved this automated email from Leo Stehlik over here in the UK
Dear customers, please note that starting May 1st 2011 our lab will no longer offer film processing services. This is due to our commitment to other projects.
Please do not send any films for processing after 30th April. Films received from 1st May onwards will not be processed, and will be returned to the sender at their expense.
Thank you for your understanding.
Regards
Leo Stehlik
Great shame realy, good luck with whatever you do next Leo

Re: Leo Stehlik
That is a bit short notice.
And then return only at sender's expense. Some reward for good faith.

Re: Leo Stehlik
A little bit harsh but things happen in your life that you have to do, and do quickly. I have never used his services but he has been more than helpful in the past regarding information and general kindness.
If I had rediscovered 8mm sooner I would no doubt have used his services.

Re: Leo Stehlik
At the Lightbreeze group I have been leading the development for processing for Super 8 film. We have started processing Ectachrome 100D for students in our workshops. Hopefully by the end of May we will be able to offer a broader processing service for Super 8 film making it easier for Super 8 users in the UK.

A great pity that he will no longer process super 8. I have used him in the past and found he offered a great service at low cost. Does anyone know of anyone else offering processing at a reasonable cost?
