This is a bit funny as people pay monies to remove aperture click stops, recenter optics, etc...of still photo lenses to make them "comparable" to the precision of professional motion picture optics.

I have the same lenses and it produces superlative resolution, detail and contrast in the tiny Super 8 format. But I will also admit the iris is a bit too freewheeling for my taste and has a tendency to "drift" from set position.
Perhaps a higher viscosity lubricant is needed. A messy job best left to a capable lens tech.
