Repairs Leicina and Bolex?

Post by ricohmite »

Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who can repair
1/ Leicina 8S (meters of course and hence the diaphragms).
2/ Bolex 155-160 (various faults, mostly optical -- viewfinder out of alignment, focusing knob that will not traverse its intended radius)

Anyone I should avoid?

Thank you

Knowing your location will help others point you in the right direction.

I remember a post here, where someone sent their Bolex super 8 camera (can't remember which model) and came back basically new. Wasn't cheap though!

A recent post to this forum suggests the Bolex factory still repairs the 160 Macrozoom camera. The service is apparently first-rate, but it's costly.
