Australian Independant Cinemas to go Digital

All of the independant cinemas in Australia have united with Omnilab in a deal set to have the big Hollywood studios subsidising the cost of outfitting all such cinemas with Digital Delivery/Projection systems.

Oh man, gone will be the days where I see scratches and splices on the big screen. Now I feel all nostalgic.

Hmm....I wonder if this could be an opportunity to grab some ex-cinema 35mm projectors at bargain prices. And throw in a few films prints too please!
