I would have to say YES to the 16mm question - my opinion only. There is simply too much resolution even on the crappy quicktime file for it to be regular 8mm. Probably shooting a B&H 16mm point and shoot of some variety. Magazine loads perhaps (just guessing but thinking about the logistics of cruising Disneyland with a really heavy camera like a Bolex...ouch). Also, some of the framing made me realize he probably had a few parallax issues.

I like the jitter in the transfer too. Shows even the Archives don't really fret about it...it adds character!
