Reg 8 100D

Post by fairchild »

Hey all

Hope everyone had a nice Holiday :D

I have been thinking about getting some reg 8 as Ive never shot it before.Ive read about the 50D not working so good and that the 100D is the way to go.But my only concern is that my B&H only goes to 40ASA so how can I compensate for this? I assume a ND filter but which one would be best?

Any info much appreciated!

A ND3.0 filter will drop the ASA down one stop to 50 ASA for Ektachrome 100D.
This will give great results provided your camera does not take its reading directly through the lens and that the auto exposure system is working good.
E100D is a beautiful stock and the about 1/3 overexposure (40 ASA instead of the
actual 50 ASA) will be easily handled by it. Good luck!
