Reminder: Dec 30 Last Day for Kodachrome process
Many of you know this, but I'm posting this reminder anyway:
http://www.kansas.co...-processed.html
"As Kodachrome is no longer manufactured, Steinle said that on Dec. 10 Dwayne's Photo will end its processing of Kodachrome.
"All this is going to be discarded," McCurry said of the processing equipment for Kodachrome, " ... so it's just a piece of history. It's nostalgic. It's kind of sad. I have about 800,000 Kodachrome images in my lab and these will be the last."

Re: Reminder: Dec 10 Last Day for Kodachrome process
December 30th is the last day according to their website.
Re: Reminder: Dec 10 Last Day for Kodachrome process
Why is this 3 month old article popping up again? When it came out, people started panicking over the incorrect date in the article, and now that it's making the rounds again, panic has resurfaced.
The cut-off date is December 30, 2010 and the time is noon. If your film is there before that time, it will be processed. If not, you are SOL.

Better to hand the films in too early than too late don't you think?
If you read the thread you'll see the correct date.

Re: Reminder: Dec 10 Last Day for Kodachrome process
Can this post be deleted or at least have the subject line changed to the correct date? It's just plain wrong information.
Re: Reminder: Dec 10 Last Day for Kodachrome process
As irritating as it seems, look at is as a Dec 2010 deadline rather than Dec 10th which is what the original reporter screwed up on.
Re: Reminder: Dec 10 Last Day for Kodachrome process
Furthermore, the reporter probably forgot to add an apostrophe to state December '10 meaning end of the month like with car registrations. After all, when we refer to movie history, we don't say '96 for the invention of movie equipment when we mean 1896, not 1996.

yeah great deal! $100 for 1 cartridge.
I'm open to offers, would love to see this film get used before it runs out of time!
