cellscope: potential telecine device?

Post by Nicholas_C »

I'm not sure if anyone has talked about this, but the cellscope:

used to make the smallest stop frame animation ever made on a 12MP smart phone (nice animation too)

could make a great potential DIY telecine device if it sells for around $100 as mentioned in the article. But I can't see any release details....it would be great depending on the camera used.

Has anyone seen this on sale anywhere?

Neat. :)
However, I would say this is more suitable for 35mm footage or bigger... in the last frames of the movie you see how "big" the model actually is.
