Copal Projectors - looking for belt

Post by rweilert »

After almost a year of absence...

Hi!

Back in Sweden on holidays I found two Copal projectors - a firm I've never heard of before. I was surprised to see the robust and thorough construction and first thought it was an Eumig or something like that.

There are two photos at
http://www.super8data.com/database/proj ... _cp_77.htm

and

in case you want to see what I mean.

Does anyone here have more information about Copal?

On the smaller one, the belt has dissolved. Where in Germany can I get a replacement?

Thanks for your comments!

Regards

Rolf

Wittner has some Copal projector belts listed here:

You'll have to check if they are compatible with your models.

Oh thanks, I found it :-)
COPAL Sekonic 390D HL (Neckermann), Sekonic CP77 und baugleiche Typen
Motorriemen
Best.-Nr. 8066 - (15.00 EUR netto) 17.85 EUR brutto
And now just imagine I paid about 1.70 EUR for the projector, and the belt costs ten times as much :D
