Great effort.

Bought myself a packet of 'plastercine' last week to have a go in the Wallace and Gromit style.

Liked the single plane model for covering with clay. Might use that instead of pipe clearners. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words. I don't have a lot of free time so this is pretty rewarding, even if I am just doing 2 seconds of animation at a time.

What are you going to do about sound/music/special effects?

I will be using the original soundtrack. I am simply updating the visuals. So once all the animation is complete, I will cut them together to match the existing sound track. Regarding special effects, I'm not sure how to answer that. I mean, the animation, miniatures, gun fire, flames, compositing, etc all pretty much qualify as one giant special effect, I would think. ;)

I am working on another mummy shot where he busts through a door. Kind of awkward because he moves so damned slow, it's hard to justify the kind of damage to the door they show in the cartoon version of the cut. What works in a cartoon doesn't always work in a the real world but I'll figure it out.
