Hey coyote, is it possible to put up the footage on Vimeo instead of Youtube for the participants to view? For obvious reasons, of course.
My credit information is at the end on my film.

Glad to see people are presevering. A shame Romeojesus seems to have let us all down.
Any word on what happened with PTC I ???

Re: "Pass The Cart" project, Official Thread
Hi all,
richard in australia here from cart 3. Yes, cart 3 is on its way back to lastcoyote ... should be there soon. I was the last shooter on that roll. I shot it on a hiking trip up australia's highest mountain - Mt Kosciusko. It is spring here, but the mountain still had a fair bit of snow above the tree line. I shot entirely using single frame making shots of about 40 frames or so (about 2 seconds each). In the event my footage counter only advanced from 50 down to about 43, so maybe I shot 7 feet. I probably kept filming, but may well have missed the summit. Still, hidy-ho, that is pass the cart!
Lastcoyote, please let me know when it arrives.
cheers,
richard

Re: "Pass The Cart" project, Official Thread
Looks like the timing is good for finishing this up. Ive got a Nov 15 deadline to enter my current film in the Macon (GA) Film Festival and then my computers are free for the PTC II project. Im headed out to grab some sound bites for "Curse of the Puma People" now but Im thinking about changing the title to "Return to Painter Island."
Ive been using the nuch talked about Zoom H4 on the forum for location sound using the built in X-Y pattern mics. I hear the H2 is even easier to use. I grabbed an innocent bystander to do a speaking part two weeks ago and then got her to give me three takes of her lines to the H4. Very natural sounding especially with the room tone right there. I did some quiet room ADR recording using a Shure M7 to Protools for dialog for another part and while the sound is great the sound from the H4 is so natural Im going to go to my next actor to grab dialog to try to see if I can use it to save time which Im running out of.
More than you wanted to know I know but I had hoped to enter our PTC II at Macon this year but the deadline is next Saturday so Im doing this one instead. Next year for PTC II so the pressure is off there at least.

Re: "Pass The Cart" project, Official Thread
GUYS!!!!!!!! I recieved a parcel today and it is one of the missing cart from Romeojesus.
He did what he promised and sent it to me. Please stop any comments that against him, and be kind to him because he sent it back, not like some other people who disappear. I believe Romeojesus was just busy at something else and can't finish off his part.
Sorry guys I'm in hurry to go out and this is just a short update to let u all know the cart arrived to me.
I'll do the update tomorrow because I'm pretty sure I will be drunk tonight.
Thanks

That's great. I'm glad. Thanks for keeping your word RJ.
He told me that he never got around to filming his 10 feet.

coyote: Did you get cart #3 yet from Australia?
There can be no thought of finishing, for "aiming at the stars" both literally and figuratively is a problem to occupy generations, so that no matter how much progress one makes there is always the thrill of just beginning.

I'm not going to badmouth the guy anymore, but I will say that it shows that you can never underestimate the power of public humiliation and a little strong-arm intimidation. He's a flake and we called him on it. And got a good result.
Now, I'm curious what we are going to do with this cart. Do we solicit a couple more responsible dedicated shooters from the forum? This would be my preference to stick to the spirit of the project.
Or we could just let lastcoyote finish it off to guarnatee that it is included. Probably the smarter choice.
Any other thoughts?
Tim

I'm up for Last Coyote filming the last bit since he got the shaft in the past. Besides this whole venture proves that you really can't rely on people - sorry to sound cynical - you never know.

I think pedro still gets the cart.
But as for empty spot, I agree that lastcoyote should finish it off.
