K3 bayonet mount

Post by sancast »

Hi!

First of all, sorry to don't speak your language very well.

I recently bought a K3 at eBay and the seller told me that it was M42 mount, but actually it has bayonet mount. Unfortunelly, I cannot send it back to the seller, 'cause I don't trust him anymore and I'm afraid to lose the camera and the money.

Well... What are my options now? I have that 17-69mm zoom, but wanna fixed lenses too. Can I use only the lenses designed for this Krasnogorsk cameras or there is any others lenses that have the same bayonet mount?

There is any adapter to use M42 (or other lens mount) in this bayonet Kasnogorsks?

Best regards,
Sancast, from Brazil.

Hello
There aren't any adapters for this bayonet
You can use only the lenses from the first Krasnogorsk (K-1). It is Vega-7/20mm, Vega-9/50mm and Mir-11/12,5mm primes. The set of lenses from the old russian ''SP-16'' camera also can be used with bayonet, but it is very hard to find

Best regards

Oh, man. Really sad. :(

Do you know why there aren't adapters for this bayonet? Is it "impossible" to make?

I think I will try to sell this camera and buy another one, with M42 mount.

It isn't in demand. Nobody will make it.
A good thing when using the bayonet mount is that you can use excellent 12,5mm prime with it. There aren't any wide-angle lenses for M42 like it, except the 8,5mm ''Peleng'' fisheye
