Places to get S8 Developed

Post by adamgarner »

In response to a question posted in another forum by Debbie I am setting up a new forum.

Here are the places I can think of that develop super 8 off the top of my head:

-Yale (only reversal films - 64T and Plus X/Tri-X)
-Pro8mm (I will not use them anymore since I found out they clip about 1-2 seconds of each end for developing. It's "their process" they say. I say BS. It's exposed film and no one else does that)
-Dwayne's (including Kodachrome)
-Alphacine
-Spectra Film&Video

Debbie - just google these places.

Why would you want a new forum if all you can find and write on small gauge is here on the forum?
Kind regards,

André

Probably "new topic" sounds better

Thanks so much.

I've used Dwayne's Photo before for developing some 126 film from my old Instamatic camera. I never thought about them developing film. I really appreciate the list of places!

Keep in mind that Dwayne's would only be for color reversal film.

Like Kodak's Ektachrome 64T (and Kodachrome if you could find any).

They would also process Ektachrome 100D that you can purchase from Spectra or Pro8mm in the States although those places often sell it with their own processing included.

If you're new to Super 8 you might also want to try Dwayne's transfer service... it's relatively inexpensive and convenient although not necessarily the best quality.
