16mm neg BAD Result Why Why!!

Hi Everyone,
I recently shoot a Music video by 16mm Negative, after processing we found a very bad result, that we never had before, please have a look at the picture.

Here is my equipment and condition:

-I use Canon scoopic 16m
-use Vision 2 500T, and push 1 stop in the lab
-Been X-ray by custom
-Loading film was smooth, and was in the pretty dark place

Is there anyone got the same problem before? I ask the lab, of course they said they do not know why, and they said it should be the camera problem, but you can see the outside of exposure area also got affected, so I dont think its from the camera, there was outdoor and indoor scence , almost only indoor pushed film got affect.....

- The lab do the cleaning and re-process for me once, but come out none-change
-I use a black and white fixer to wash it (2 ft) for 15min, still none-change...

Why will this happen??

I think, that it can be only x-ray effect. It is no wonder, that x-ray has exposed such film, as yours 500ASA... It cannot be corrected by simple means anyhow

This way not affect your film

Hi Jam,
this looks like classic X-ray fogging. 500 asa is a reasonably fast stock, making it more prone to x-ray fogging. Also, I think that while kodak say quite correctly that some airport hand luggage x-ray is not problematic, especially for slower films, and this is certainly true, they also say that if you are push processing you must avoid airport x-ray scanning.

Thanks alot Richard, I believe it is the X-ray problem, too bad the producer let the custom scan the films....
