We got a little bit of press in the Kodak In Camera magazine this month.

Also please know that we have some August screenings coming up in Seattle, the Bay Area and also Palm Springs:

San Francisco International Short Film Festival August 6 - 9th
SF Short Fest Website

Palm Springs Short Fest and Film Market August 21 - 27th
PSSFF Website

SIFF CINEMA August 31st
Visit SIFF Website

We keep the screenings page updated with upcoming screenings.

Very happy about the good run the film is having. If anyone has any questions about the film, film festivals or whatever, please feel free to post them and we can discuss. Thanks in advance.

...Thanks for the encouraging words Rick. I'm off to Palm Springs this weekend for the Short Fest and then off to South America for the month of September to shoot some new films..

Last time I went through Toronto. This time Huston Texas. I like Toronto.

Hi Steve,

Cool article on what seems to be a cool film.

Info on filmstock was especially valuable for me since I'm in preproduction stage for a feature doc that will hopefully be shot next year in Bolivia heights (Sun Island). It probably won't be shot only on film, but definitely to a large extent.

Back on Shikashika, have you or will you try to enter it to "Visions du Réel" festival in Nyon, Switzerland ? I attend it every year and they welcome films of all lentghs, with a distinctive look. They also favor an "auteur" approach.
I would love to see your film there.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers.
B.

Hi Benjamin,

Thanks for your interest. I'm intrigued about your Sun Island project. I'm currently at the Palm Springs Film Festival with Shikashika "in competition".

I did send a screener to "Visions du Réel", but I have not heard back from them.

Again, thanks for your interest and please keep me posted on your project.

If you want to discuss more, just give me a shout..
