anamorphic lenses and aspect ratios......

Hi

does anybody happen to know what the aspect ratio is of a 2x anamorphic lens? It's a Kowa Prominar 16-A.

is the aspect ratio 2.66:1 or 2.35:1 or something else?

Depends what you put it on - it'll stretch the aspect ratio of whatever you have to double the width. For a 1.33:1 (4:3) image, then you'll end up with 2.66:1
