That's awful. Here's a link to the scene as it was originally envisioned, with slightly faster pacing. In this version, you'll notice that he seems like an imposter - his voice seems to belong to a much larger and more confident man, and his awkward physical twitching really add to the sense of futility and insanity.

Come on James - that really isn't fair.
I had thought better of you than that - there are people of a certain generation (myself included) for whom that sort of thing is too painful a memory to revisit.
This is a Filmshooting forum, and posts should be (within reason) on-topic.
You know the rules, and so do I.

Count yourself lucky. Adding bogus subtitles to the "bunker meltdown" scene has been done ad-nauseum over the past few months. It ruins a brilliantly played scene in a powerful film. Still, perhaps it will encourage a few people in the USA to rent and watch "Der Untergang"etimh wrote:I don't understand any of these posts. :?
As for the other, you must be the only person left on earth who hasn't been conned into watching that horrendous video.

I always seem to be just slightly behind the curve on that viral internet meme stuff. By the time I become aware of something, its usally over.
But thanks for the clarification/direction on this reflex. I'll watch out for that funky vid.
