BTW footnote to our effort - we were going to video the whole birth - but on the morning of the delivery - I kid you not the actual morning - my Canon camcorder (did I say that loud enough? - my
CANON camcorder) packed in.
So no footage....
Moral of the story - shoot film ha ha

yeah - rule: stick to film+ a russian Quarz wind up cam - i shot both births on K40 /S8 actually - not the actual birth bur first scream and search for the mamilian protruberances ... came out fine ... on K40 sound an no jitter naturally.... used Sankyo 420 for No.1 and Elmo 1012 for No. 2....
shoot.... film

Hey hey! Thanks guys!
Check the MMS blog on the frontpage for picture!
The date was actually
June 27th . She was born a little early (8-9 weeks) so she's only about 1900grams heavy (light) and 40,5cm long. She'll (we'll) be staying in the hospital for about 6 weeks till she's gained some more weight. She's doing just fine, so is her mother and I.
We're very proud parents now!
/Andreas

Congratulations. All these years of practicing film have led you to this. Now you have your star.
I did the opposite, filmed the birth but with the lens cap on and only recorded audio. Very compelling audio I must say.
