Just got the film in the mail today from etimh.
I'm currently recovering from foot surgery I had last week,
but I'm a bit more mobile now and hope to get out to
shoot this coming weekend. Don't know what of yet.

vidwerk,

Thanks for your update.. I'm sure the other shooters won't mind if you take another week to rest until you get more comfortable to walk before shooting.

Get well soon!

Philip

At the risk of sounding insensitive -- maybe the people who can't shoot right away can send the film to the next person in line -- then they can get it on the return?

Just an idea...

I only received cart 1 yesterday, and plan to shoot this weekend.
I don't know about the others, but for me, I think it's a very reasonable time frame.

I know guys. I appologize. I'm obviously the slowest, due to circumstances beyond my control. I had some bad camera problems all at once. My 1014E completely died, and the Nizo I bought off, ahem, here.. turned out to have some bad flaws and wouldn't move the film correctly. The dude I got my XL-S from off eBay said he was sending it way before he actually did. However, it's most defintely on it's way now (I have tracking confirmation) and I'll be filming the first night I get it. I could have sent it to the next in line earlier... but I'll hold off for now, and if it doesn't get to my door by the end of next week (GOD FORBID) I'll pass it off to superbus and I can get it on the turn around. Does that sound okay?
There can be no thought of finishing, for "aiming at the stars" both literally and figuratively is a problem to occupy generations, so that no matter how much progress one makes there is always the thrill of just beginning.

that's cool -- I wasn't trying to tell people what to do -- it was just a suggestion. It's frustrating seeing as how the first two versions of this ended up dying on the vine, so to speak. Just thinking outside the box in ways to get the project going.

Anyway, with Philip in charge I think we have a good chance of it reaching the end...eventually...

Chas, do you know if Pelle.txt received the cart? If so Pelle.txt what is your status?

No worries. I guess I was just trying to justify my own situation. I do agree with your comment though. People that take exceptionally long times should forward it on. I hope to have my 10ft shot and in the mail by Monday. Indeed philip is doing a splendid job and is a great leader for this project. Can't wait for the results.
Cheers,

Glad to hear it. I look forward to seeing this project reach its conclusion! :)

One day, before I die, I hope the two dicks who destroyed the first two versions of this project will answer for themselves. Unbelievable.

No clue. I sent it last week so I'll PM him. Unless he is lurking about. Pelle.txt, you here?
