I am SO getting one of those cameras when they're available!
Uhh... I'm not sure how replacing the spring drive with an electric motor would magically improve the optics. I suspect you're reacting to the 100D and the transfer.

I guess for me price is the main issue, and at $700 seems like a good price (but it is the very most I would consider paying for it).
I don't shoot a lot of 16mm, but if I had a k3 with electric motor.....

Maybe you could offer a package with a super 16 gate too.
The link you sent about the super 16 gate seems a little steep, considering they are just filing the side off (or is there more too it than that?).
You just have to guess the framing in the viewfinder I presume?

Anyway the s16 thing is not what this thread is about.
So the motor sound great and I hope it turns out well for you.
Best of luck,
Chris

no, they're not usb hosts, just clients.

You seem like you're in a bad mood today. This guy's trying to develop a product and solicit our input, and you're lashing out. How come?

Yeah, "Blue" sucks.. i don't know if big donkeys ..but that's another
story ..i jump out and switch
..
Anyway, interesting approach to the russian 16mm cam.

I think I'll stick to renting an SR3 or something as good or better and leave my beloved K3 MOS and spring wound, after all the camera is loud and I enjoy the ease of easy switch mags because time = money on the set. Thanks Arri.
