Elmo 8-TL with 100 ft. magazine attachment-lens change ?

I bought mine from a seller in brazil.
The magazine is intact but the camera is missing some parts, but they work. are the elmo 8tl cameras interchangeable with the magazine?
I know the lens in not removable. its fixed.
a manual would be nice to have as there are a number of features on this. i.e. 2 different asa setting on the magazine, several ports on the magazine and camera.
the 100' film from john schwind is on 16mm daylight reels so it would go directly into the magazine.

John schwind uses daylight spools intended for 16mm cameras for the 100' regular 8mm film that he sells. The just don't make the appropriate spool anymore, and 16mm daylight spools are the next closest thing. I used a little tape to fatten the take-up spindles on my bolex h8 and they fit perfectly. They used to make a spindle adapter for just this purpose, but I've never seen any.

yes, John S. had a spindle adapter on his website, but for price it now says "N/A"

Yes, I asked him about them and he said he was out and would not be getting anymore in (no longer manufactured). The difference is very slight-without an adapter, the reels would probably turn just fine-but they just don't seat tightly against the hub. John pretty much told me that wedging a piece of paper or whatever in around the hub would be more than enough to make up the difference.
