My mom (shooter's daughter) seem to think it was a Bell & Howell.
I know the quality is lousy, but I'm hoping there is someone out there who can name it by shape.
It looks like a Kodak Brownie from the 50's. The lens he is looking through appears to be sitting on top of the camera, like a kodak reg 8mm camera would be.
He is using a single lens (EDIT: I said reflex, I blanked out. I mean't Parallax! Parallax meaning that the lens and viewfinders are separated which means an adjustment is needed.) Brownie, Model II. Inside the convenient field case.
When using the viewfinders you look through a peephole the size of an 8mm frame, then through the front finder which gives you two distances. 4 feet and farther, look past that arrow. If the subject is closer than 4 feet use the 2 foot arrow so the subject is in close relation to the lens.
It has a 13mm lens, 16 frames per second, 25' load capacity and a 25-30 second spring powered motor.
Very durable, portable and useful for if you find yourself like me without any want for a camcorder and still want home movies!
cheers,
Jordan

I'm back, I'm back- thebrowniecameraguy is back! I still have my Brownie 8mm Turret f/1.9! Time to play!
Yeah, it is an all-metal brownie-check out the black "L" shape in front of his hand-that is the top of the leather carrying case, top flipped down for shooting. The white square on the side facing us is a little bracket that will hold a film aperature setting chart clipped from the box of film.
Check out ebay item #180166264871 to see one just like it.
ebay item #170155693815 for a clearer picture of it outside of the case.
