Nothing against the Cart #1 group. I am impressed that the project is still going, and hasn't faded off into the desert of apathy that is the normal end of such endeavors.

Mojo, when you get into the editing, I wonder if it could be an idea to post some stills from several participants' footage? Sort of the equivalent of a teaser or sneak preview before seeing the final edited film. Just a suggestion.

Sorry, please ignore my PM.

NO prob at all. I sent Mojo a PM and never heard back but someone else from the forum sent it. But I still haven't heard back from him -- hope he got the cart!

This is like deja vu -- first that dude from last year in Pennsylvania, now Mojo! It seems whoever I send the cursed K40 to disappears! Maybe we can make a Japanese horror film out of this and make tons of money...I can see the tag line now..."for God's sake...stay away from the Kodachrome!"

 Ya a story like a missing film cart sent out and the lab recieved it like 30 years later and suprisingly the image is still there but after project out a looks like meaningless images.

13 days after you watch the images a faceless lady climb out from the projector and scare the victim to death.

to prevent it you need to telecine it by WORKPRINTER and send the DVD back to MOJOHEY.

How's that?

I've had a couple experiences like that, including processing a 16mm cartridge from WW2 era government GSAP camera. The whole roll was fogged (could just barely make out a building) except for ONE FRAME which was entirely clear! Atom bomb blast, maybe?

yeah but what is weirder is that in both events I was the one who mailed out the cart and the PERSON I MAILED THE K40 CART TO DISAPPEARED!

Mojo used to be a regular on this forum...anyone contact him lately...hmm....

No -- any knowledge of Mojo's whereabouts anyone?

This dreaded 'K40 curse' is starting to get on my nerves!

Sorry I'm a little bit confused, so here are my very basic and stupid question:

1. Where are the carts?
2. Are the carts processed?
3. The only problem is to find Mojo (Morris Milne? The latest post of him is from June so I'm positive he is on vacation or something like that.

Am I right?

The carts are at Morris'. I think all but the last one are processed. Yes, I expect that he will check in eventually.

That's ok. Just waiting for the final film. I hope the time will come when we can see the final film and we all will be very proud of being participated! ;)

Look -- maybe this sounds stupid but can't any of you Brits who worked on this project give Morris a ring or drop by his flat (isn't he in Glasgow?)...

I swear, this project is cursed....

I was thinking about trying a version of this project with a roll of Velvia but no way...
