Fuji Single-8 Anyone home processed?

Now that I seem to have the technique I was wondering about having a go with colour. Now I have managed Ektachrome in the distant past and I believe Fujichrome is processed E-6. Can anyone confirm this? Also has anyone processed it themselves?

Hello,
I have looked into this myself and the most difficult thing, supposedly, is the removal of the black backing (antihalation layer). With Ektachrome if it doesn't come off during the process you can rub it off, but with Fuji it is a lot harder.
It is (from what I have read) a rubber type backing and very, very hard to remove.

Is it standard on all Ektachrome film?

It is years since I processed any, but cannot remember any backing. Maybe it comes off with the correct E6 chemicals. Widescreen offer a processing facility ontop of the film price so it must be easier than Kodachrome and I suspect from the price it is just going through the same E6 process used for Ektachrome.

Hallo.
The material is most identical to E-6 process. But to remove the
black layer you need 2 extra steps. Thats why nobody can develop this material. Standard Ektachrome processing dont have
the antihalation Layer. Old Ektachrome 160 has this layer too.
