I used my Bolex for about 1/2 of "Ennui" but not for "Westsider" as I had to have a more accurate exposure system. Used an Elmo 1012S XL for all interiors; a Canon 814 AZ, a Minolta XL-401 and a borrowed Canon 1014-xls for exteriors.

Eventually I'd like to get the Bolex mod and then use it for some stop-mo animation as I love the macro lens!
I'd be interested in seeing "Ennui".

Aside from the marvelous macro lens, the coincident rangefinder is also superb. ( I was testing mine today). It's similar to the outstanding rangefinder on the Bolex P3.

I can't wait to have my camera serviced. ( I may even test it with film before as I lack patience!).

A few years ago pulled out an old 155 I got as-is somewhere. When I screened the footage I couldn't believe how good it looked-- K40, real sharp lens, steady, perfectly exposed, sparkling. One of the best-- it was amazing.
