Thanks!
I think I won´t use the inside filter with my 1014 XL-S. Looks better without.

It is a daylight film, you shouldn't need a filter.

Freddy's results are similar to mine, the colours are pleasing as is the overall look of the film. Grain somewhere between 64T and 100D.
The government says that by 2010 30% of us will be fat....I am merely a trendsetter :)

DAYLIGHT
You can choice with or without filter in your camera.
Personnaly, I prefer without filter but
the filter gives a little "gaity".
ARTIFICIAL LIGHT
With a cine-lamp 1000 watts. Even if it's generally advised to put a filter on the lens, I prefer without filter, it gives a more pleasant colour. Of course, it's a question of taste.

I wonder what it will be? I hope it isn't Ektachrome 100D as we already have Wittner and Pro8mm offering that.

So once again we ask what the mystery Kahl film is:

Fuji Velvia 100?
Fuji Astia?
Fuji Provia?
Kodak Elitechrome?

When I click on the links, I get a blank screen. This is not an isolated case for me ... I often have difficulty viewing movies. Is there someone more computer literate than myself (not hard) that can explain to me what I need to do here? I'd really like to see this clip.
cheers,
Richard

UT21?????? We have to see this too!
I run Nano Lab - Australia's super8 ektachrome processing service

Hi Richard
I don't know why. It's a m2v or mpeg file. (~62 mo)
I have an other film, but it's a film art and I used the ut18.
One will be able to see it in the second emission of SUPER8FRANCE TV on the canal 13. I speak about my Super 8 passion, I present my city, my shop, my work and website at the televiewers, I present also some super 8 magazine, s8 cameras, s8 films and in the third emission, I intend to interview a repairer of projectors and cameras, users.

For the moment, I wait one day sunny to shoot with the UT21.

Probably a player/codec problem. I suggest you right click on the file and download it to your local harddrive and from there use Quicktime player to play it. I think that should work.

If not, try the Nero DVD player (digital vision I think it's called) if you have that installed.

You may also try this free and pretty good media player:

Hi! I checked Kahl's website and they don't list it yet, not even as meterware. Do you any idea of the film's origin?

Regards,

Morales.
