I was filming last weekend and I put in a new roll of super 8 Kodak tri-x. When I started filming it ran for a few seconds than stopped, ran again then stopped. This happened three times. Then I took the catridge out of the camera and put it back in. The camera stayed running but I later found out the film wasnt going through the camera. There were scratch marks inbetween the sprocket holes, like it was trying to catch but couldnt.
The mechanics of the camera seem to be working correctly, so do you think it could have been a jammed cartridge? Or somethng else?
Bad cartridge???
