Braun Nizo questions

Post by christoforou »

What are the main differences between the Braun Nizo 4080 and the Braun Nizo 6080? is the 6080 quiet for sync sound? is the 4080 also quiet. Which is the quietest camera to use?
Thank you !

This topic is like a broken record. I wish people search the forum before asking questions.

I noticed in the Super wiki entries for the two Nizos above, that the 6080 had a 200 degree shutter angle but there was no shutter angle listed for the 4080. Is it also 200 degrees? I tried to look it up in the manual and missed it. The Merzbarn spec chart lists both models as XL.

I have a 4080 and just bought a hand-held light meter, I'd love to determine the shutter angle to use it properly. Anyone know?

I'm having a very similiar problem with my Nizo Professional, cannot find out the shutter speeds for it anywhere, i tried determining it myself by comparing the light meter to the cameras light meter, but i am just not sure of my results.

I'm pretty sure the Nizo Pro is 150 degrees, but I could be wrong.

Hi,

I'm 90% sure that all Nizo 40xx/60xx do have a 200° shutter. But since I'm not 100% sure, I didn't add this info to the wiki. So. Is there anyone with a manual or something similar to proof this?

The shutter is 225˚and the exposure at 24fps is 1/38
this taken from the book:

The motion picture camera data, by David W. Samuelson. Focal press - London 1979.[/img]
