I acquired an Agfa Microflex 200 S8 camera today, along with an editor, which I found in a charity shop.
I've found out very little about it online, so I'm wondering if you can all help me work out what it can do. I'm assuming it's a 40/160 camera, judging by the button inside the film compartment. However, it has a knob on it labelled A, O and + - what does this do? Is it some sort of exposure compensation, or does it do something else? I'm wondering if it is suitable for E64T or not.
Any other opinions on this camera? It's really small, so I hope I can make use of it.

Hello Lee,
the Agfa Microflex 200 really is a ASA 40/160 camera.
The knob labels mean:
O = off
A = run
+ = run with exposure compensation (aperture + 1).
There is no manual exposure. So the camera is not really suitable for the E64T.
There are 2 other films suitable for ASA 40 cameras:
a) Cinevia based on Fuji Velvia 50. The film can be exposed like ASA 40 film. At the present time I nevertheless can not recommend this film for cameras like the Microflex. I tried it and the only camera running the film without problems was the Beaulieu 4008 ZM 4.
To solve this problem a renewed Super 8-Cassette seams to be under construction.
To get some information have a look to http://www.cinevia.eu.
b) Kahl UT 18 (= ASA 50). Up to now I never tried this film, but some postings at http://www.kamera-board.de/wbb2/board.php?boardid=34 (german!) said that it runs without problems. Never having tried this material I also don't know anything about the look.
