Sometimes, you've got to spread the good news. Over at the new video site GROUPER.COM (owned by Sony Pictures), thanks to their promotional department there, the total (as of today April 28th, 2007) the total is 9,889,272 video views for Sonnyboo movies.

#1 WAITING, directed by Micah Jenkins, and shot with Pro8mm 50ASA negative film

with Total Views: 3,349,567

#2. LICENCE EXAM, shot 16mm

with Total Views: 3,249,795

#3. FILMMAKERS THE NEXT GENERATION, shot with Kodachrome 40

I am very proud that 3 of the Sonnyboo movies area at over 3 million views each. All happen to have been shot on actual film (two super 8 and one 16mm film). Thanks to all who helped make these films and the continued support of all things Sonnyboo!

Nice little film, funny and well acted. Does the jittery image and handheld camera really prove necessary in the final result? It seems strong enough in itself and can do without the forced amateur look of the past. I think
Kind regards,

Yes it did.... I had some trouble with Pro8mm. It was NOT intentional. THe camera, when using Kodachrome was steady as a rock (same camera on both of the above Super8 films.
