Info about lots of Schneider-Kreuznach-lenses

Post by Bjarne Eldhuset »

This might interest some of you. Schneider-Kreuznach has a lot of information about many of their old lenses on the following site:

http://www.schneider-kreuznach.com/archiv/pdf/

Btw, check out the picture from "Machinenfabrik Oerlikon" on page 5 in this brochure:

Wonder if those guys are replaced by robots today?

Thanks for the link.
All in German though - I wouldn't struggle so much if I continued practicing it.

Actually, the kind pdf-makers at Schneider-Kreuznach have OCRed the manuals, so even in Adobe Reader you can easily copy the text (select tool) to the clipboard, and paste it into:

http://babelfish.altavista.digital.com/babelfish/tr

- to get a rough translation from german to english or french.

Btw, this is a more informative link to the page mentioned in the first post:

I wonder if Schneider ever produced the 6-180mm f/1.8 Variogon lens for Super 8 c-mount cameras described at http://www.schneider-kreuznach.com/arch ... super8.pdf?
