I believe he means script. My best advice for writing scripts is to read a newspaper. Take interesting stories and mold them with your own past experiences to shape a story. In my experience, anyone other than a writer will keep their hands on a good script idea and make it themselves. No one wants to see what someone else can do with thier story unless they don't enjoy the practice of filmmaking IMHO.
