Never saw a violin with frets before. Or is that some artifact? (at 0:55)

Me neither. Apparently http://www.woodviolins.com/html/viper.html makes violins with frets. That sure would help with intonation :-)

Everyone who buys a camcorder should be required to take a training course. It would save their relatives many hours of anguish.

Hehe, there are at least three violin player friends whom I will recommend these instruments... :wink:
