Hi, I've read all the instructions about making my own battery pack for Beaulieu 4008 ZM. But the instructions are kinda vague about the exact pin-outs for the power? Could someone tell me the pin-outs from bottom to top pin?
Also I have a question about the ground glass & mirror -thing. Could it be possible to put some masking to the mirror so it's easier to frame for letterbox? I've heard that the ground glass gets very easily misplaced, so is it impossible to attach any masking to the mirror?
Beaulieu 4008 exact power pin-outs and masking the mirror?

On the 2008 beaulieu I figured the center contact (bottom to have all the power, next one up to have 1/2 and the top to be the negative. Look where the original battery hits the contact points on the camera. Center point on battery hits center contact, etc. only thing is to use a continuity meter to make sure you wire it correctly on the INSIDE, if you install the plug.
I shoot for my footage to be tranfered to video and I will letterbox it. I allow more headroom and more space at the bottom. Either get a mattebox or do some framing tests.

Where are the wires :o
Hmm very stange indeed...I've tried the pins with my multimeter and I can't find any corresponding wires! In which side of the camera are the correct wires? I haven't got the "film" side open yet.
