a new standard for 64t
got 11 rolls of 64t back from andec today and just had to project it. it's easily the best looking super 8 i've ever seen, 100d and k40 included. mind you i didn't shoot this so although i'm the director i'm not bragging. ;-)
i managed to get a dp who was recently grammy nominated for another video and he turned out to be the man. we're scanning on monday. stay tuned.
(yes, it's grainy but less than my previous experiences)

If I recall, it was'nt the film stock that was problematic as many here thought. It was the fact that Dwayne's was not processing it to the same standard that othere labs were.

That could be good news for Regular 8. Becasue the 100D seems to be quite expensive in Regular 8. Probably because of the T Grain technology. I wonder if 64T will be available in Regular 8? I have not yet tried 64T because I have been waiting to see what oppinions develope over it's use.

Good to hear, just bought 2 cartridges.
Got two rolls of Velvia back from Spectra today and I have to say I'm really impressed with that stock when exposed properly. Such rich color!
I'm sending the Velvia and a roll of Ektachrome 64T to Flying Spot in Seattle for an HD scan, I'll post results when they come in. Won't be a scientific test, but should be interesting to see.

Yeah, let's see some pics when you get the footage transfered Mattias! I love the way the stock looks. People tend to rag on it for grain and the 64 ASA speed in tungsten light. Millions of people, myself included, shot Kodachrome indoors at 40ASA... a half stop faster and with better lattitude, why not shoot 64T indoors? I predicted that some talented people would make some very nice films shot on 64T. Sounds like one is in the making. 8)

i also like 64t. i've shot two rolls and both came out well exposed and very steady.

Did you have problems with image steadiness?
Too bad, the colors are very good.
