By the way, is this a Mac or PC screensaver?
Thanks Michael I just emailed you -- it will be a PC screensaver - purely because I'm on a PC - I dont' spose there's any PC software to write Mac screensavers is there?? But if anyone on a mac wants to make it I could send all the images to them

Hi Kent - actually I wasn't going to have any burn in/watermarks etc on the images -in order to keep the images clean and attractive - but I am going to have a slide or two with the credits for all the images in the screensaver -- would that be alright with you ? -- if so I'll PM you a list of the images I was interested in so you could send clean versions if you have them
thanks

I scanned it from a stack of one of the Movie Maker Magazines I have. This is an ad for a Bolex SP80 projector. Take a close look at the image and see if you can tell what is wrong about it.

Besides the horrible wallpaper?
Looks like there's no film threaded through the projector. Oops.
It also appears to be a color poster, rather than a projected image, on the projection screen (but that was a common technique for photographing projectors being used).
Yep. No film threaded in the projector. Also note that the switch is in the OFF position. The other odd thing is how close the projector is to the screen. But at least the wall paper is cool. Brings back memories of our avacado green shag carpet - I'm not kidding
I'm probably too late but this thread made me dig out the old cine magazines and have a flick through for good pics. The problem is most of my magazines only have colour on the cover, here's a few of the better ones.
No not too late - they'll be in there -- thanks for that - I should be able to put the whole lot together in the next few hours I think. There's about 120 images I've got for it now.
Thanks for posting these - they're great!

I know the ScreenSaver has already been produced, but I wanted to pass on another Super8 photo. This is a still of Ursula Andress from Casino Royal with what appears to be a Beaulieu 4008.
Yeah that's cool - I'll add that in - (although it's kind of obvious why - given that it's only about 3% Super 8 camera   ) (but hey who am I to complain!)
I'll get round to registering the authoring programme too (as I want to make my own screensavers from my films) - and I'll update the Super 8 screensaver as well.
thanks for that --- any other additions add it to this thread
