still photos from Japan
I took these over break. All digital (sorry) shot with a Pentax DL. I did take a Scoopic M, but I don't have the footage now. Comments welcome. I was going to post annotations but couldn't find the option in the program where I generated the gallery. The images are pretty clear about a sort of narrative, though. Ignore the last few...

Those are some production stills from my current 16mm film that accidentally slipped in ;)
I took V2 50D and 500T, but ended up only using 50D in Japan. I did shoot a roll of 500T, wide-open, in Kowloon along Nathan Road at night. I hope it comes out.

Did Nathan Road back in the early 80's with Fujichrome R25 and the lowlight Fujica ZXM500, it came out beautiful! Nathan Road is actually quite well lit by the neon and shop lights.Evan Kubota wrote: I did shoot a roll of 500T, wide-open, in Kowloon along Nathan Road at night. I hope it comes out.

It's a town in the mountains called Yu-mura. The place is primarily known for hot springs, associated hotels/inns, and a place where heated water flow is set up along the frigid river. Those are the steamy shots with people and the one with eggs in a net. They hard-boil them in the sulfur-rich water.
It also, apparently, has some of the most snow in western Japan.
