Awsome! very nice transfer too. I keep saying this stock is very under rated in S8. 500ASA and it can still look finer grain than 64T with a hell of a lot more information.

This is really extraordinary super 8 photography. These examples really show the latitude of 7218. It can see in the dark. Thanks for posting this.

Very impressive...I love the sharpness. I found it hard to believe that it was Super-8; it looks almost as good as some 16mm.

If the original Vision 500T looks this good, how much better does Vision2 500T look? I'm assuming that this is the original V500T and not the new stock...

BTW, did anyone notice that Pro8mm is no longer listing 8/99 anymore? Does anyone know if Kodak discontinued it?

The old 500T was not available in S8, except from Pro8mm and the grain was unbearable. The 7218 is a whole new game, but I think the speed scares too many into thinking it will be very grainy, when in fact its not.

super fantastic! what aperature and shutter speed were you using for the fireworks shots? and what iso did you set the camera to?

Nice. (the video said Canon 814XLS with 220 degrees and 18fps...no word on aperture - shall I assume wide open locked?)

Makes me think 500T would be great for the Disneyland fireworks.
