shot black and white 16mm 3374 (kodak) and had it processed as a neg. That was the end of the roll, so it burned out like that. Pretty eh? I love organic film effects.jimmyking wrote:Nice work Justin!

There are some nice shots in there and I love the look of the last shot, but get rid of the sequence with the hair in the gate - it conveys the wrong message.

great, you'll find work with that one i'm sure. it's not obvious whether this is your director's, cinematographer's or even telecine operator's reel though (or did i miss that?).
i agree on the hair in the gate. just cut to that sequence a little leater when it's not so obvious. as it is now it's the first thing you see. i think that very sequence of that very film is the best thing you've done actually, so don't drop it completely. also, i think the sequence after that with the squib stuff isn't quite up to par. nothing not great should ever be on a showreel.
