reversal processing ANDEC / Berlin vs. FOTOCINEMA / Rome

Post by Pedro »

When doing test shoots with the new film stocks, I did not like how the E64T came out (colored heavy grain, soft, not sharp image, exagerated colors). I had it developed at Andec.

Following the advise of Ugo Grassi, I sent two more films to the Roman lab FOTOCINEMA, only to check the results from there.

At both E64T films, the grain is notable finer and only of black color, the colors are much more natural, have again the "film look" and not a digital like look. And, what is most important, the film looks much sharper.

So, for the same developing + shipping costs, you get a significantly better result out of E64T. But it still cannot come even close to the Wittnerchrome 100D!

How much costs that pleasure at FOTOCINEMA (incl. all taxes, shipping usw.)?

Dear Pedro,
I'm happy that my suggest was right!!! For me this an important news, because three of my friends and I worked with Fotocinema to start this service!
... and you have to see the result for the 100D processed by Fotocinema. I saw it, and the film is like a 16mm!!! Wonderful!
Here the prices...
http://www.trinityweb.it/fotocinema/sup ... eet001.htm
and then click on "lavorazioni" (bottom)

Note: 26 euro is the price of "all included" service (film+processing+spool+shipping back+VAT)

I've never really understood this line of thought. It can't be that hard for you to pop open a copy of IE to check the site out.

I never really understood why someone would develop a website that doesen´t support firefox. Internet explorer is shit, a website that requires me to to use IE goes to the trashcan directly.

Ugo, please tell them to get a english webpage that is compatible with most of the browsers out there (at least firefox, firefox is spreading like a plague. A good plague that is. ;) ).

When they get a english website drop me a PM or email, I will post it in a swedish filmforum. I bet they would get several orders from sweden. :)

Most pages in english have no text. Only the ones with images have annotation in english.

It has nothing to do with browser.
Kind regards,

Get a proper translation and get clients from other countries.
No english page? No clients from other countries.

But I guess it depends on what kind ot clients they want to get. ;)

It´s cool. :)

I will wait until they have a compatible webpage (so that people won´t have a "bad memory" of a uncompatible webpage...)and then I will put the link in the forum. :)

All good things to those who deserve it. Right! :D
