What do these do..please?

Post by Dr Smith »

A while back I bought a Beaulieu 4008 ZMII and it came with two of these:

I was wondering if anyone can tell from these pics what they are for? I am new to Super 8 so I expect it's probably bl##dy obvious. I'm guessing they are two lens adaptors but I wonder for what lenses? I have posted three pics per adaptor. The second set of pics are of something marked "SYNCHRO COMPUR"

Can anyone advise please?

Hello,

normaly you can use lenses with the c-mount on your Beaulieu camera, if you want to use lenses with a different mount, you need an adapter like the two you ask for.
Example: i have an old Canon photo camera (Canon A1) and with my Canon-FD to c-mount adapter i can use all my Canon Lenses with my Beaulieu. There are a lot of adapters out there for Canon-FD, Leica Mount, Nikon, M42, PL-Mount, Pentax, etc...

Yes, they are lensmount adapters.
